Vascular plants in Svalbard consists of about 165 species, which is relatively high for a group of islands so far north. Here we present herbarie-collecting maps of vascular plants that are native to Svalbard, and some introduced species.

The data are mainly taken from herbarie-collections to university museums in Oslo, Tromsø, Trondheim and Bergen. The real prevalence is probably greater than what the maps show since some species may be overlooked and common species are often not recorded.
We are missing photos of some species and Error in help from the public
with this. In the near future there will be a
key destination and a brief description of each species.
