Four Saxifraga species have been determined to be Micranthes

As a result of new and more accurate determination methods leading botanists have determined four species of the genus Saxifraga on Svalbard to be Micranthes.

This applies to:

(Saxifraga ) Micranthes hieracifolia
(Saxifraga ) Micranthes nivalis
(Saxifraga) Micranthes tenuis
(Saxifraga) Micranthes foliolosa
